Early December we talked to Jillian about a BIG reward when she stopped sucking her thumb. She is about to turn five, so we really wanted her to kick the habit. We found a GIANT lollipop and decided that would be her reward. The second she saw it she made up her mind to quit. Every night (which is really the only time she did still suck her thumb) she would put a sock on her hand to remind herself while she was asleep. After 6 weeks, she FINALLY got her lollipop.
